About Give to the Max Day
Give to the Max Day was created in 2009 to launch GiveMN, a collaborative venture led by Minnesota Community Foundation and many other organizations in an effort to help make our state a better place. That initial spark touched off a blast of online giving—$14 million in 24 hours. Since then, Give to the Max Day has become an annual tradition. Every year, thousands of organizations and individuals generate donations and excitement for Minnesota causes (including the Catholic Services Appeal Foundation) that are working to improve the quality of life for all Minnesotans.
In May 2020, GiveMN debuted an additional “Give at Home MN” giving period to assist with emergency funding related to Covid-19 relief. In May 2021, GiveMN sponsored “Spring Forward MN” giving days to assist non-profits in garnering additional funding as recovery continued.
In 2021, donors to the Catholic Services Appeal gave more than ever before to the CSAF via GiveMN, shattering previous giving totals and contributing nearly $90,000 total between May’s “Spring Forward” event and November’s “Give to the Max” campaign!
During November’s “Give to the Max” campaign, nearly $52,000 was raised, more than double the initial $25,000 goal. 2021’s “Spring Forward” event saw generous donations of nearly $38,000, close to double the CSAF’s Spring challenge goal.
Thank you to all who have supported the Designated Ministries via GiveMN! Donations to the Catholic Services Appeal Foundation may also always be made any time of year via GiveCSAF.org.
