As 1 of 17 Collective Ministries served by the CSAF each year, high school scholarships are provided to students with great financial need so that they are able to benefit from a Catholic high school education.
Each year the CSAF funds over 300 need-based scholarships of $2,500. The scholarships are for students to attend one of the Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese.
There is high demand for CSAF’s high school student scholarships, with more than 3,000 students applying each year, and more than twice as many annual applicants than available scholarships. There is a diverse representation of students applying for scholarships, as they are from rural, suburban and urban areas of the Archdiocese.
In 2015:
- $800,000 in Scholarships were Provided to More than 300 Students
- Students Receiving Scholarships in 2015 were from More than 90 Parishes
